Internet poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in fact a bit further than its television scores. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with chemin de fer than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no bluffing or different kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the croupier broadcasting "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course all of the different players are given five cards each. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is akin to your beginning wager, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your bet goes instantly to the bank. After the wager is the face off. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, plus an amount on par with the ante. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The dealer pays money even with your initial bet and set odds on your call bet. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
