Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the western in a great game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the croupier, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers wager with other players. By competing against the dealer, starting players do not have to fret about other, more advanced players taking their mulla.

An additional Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game play, novices are able to take their time and strategize without needing to make frenzied decisions.

It is also simpler to bet on for a long time with basically a tiny bit of money after all, to not win, both of your hands must be under both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards face up and the house is dealt seven cards face down.

A 5 card hand and one 2 card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the houses.
